The MSA 161 T battery chainsaw uses the STIHL AP Battery System and is a handy professional battery saw for arborists. This lightweight top-handled chainsaw is very popular among arborists due to its weight of just 2.5 kg (without battery) and its engine output. With a high chain speed of 16 m/s, strong acceleration and the STIHL 1/4'' PM3 saw chain, this power tool will help you make fine, extremely precise cuts. Another advantage of the STIHL MSA 161 T battery chainsaw is that you can also use it in noise-sensitive areas such as residential neighbourhoods and around schools or hospitals. Since there is no need to wear ear protection, communication between arborists and helpers on the ground is also simplified.
The chain of the STIHL MSA 161 T battery chainsaw can be retensioned easily and safely from the side, without coming into contact with the saw chain. The STIHL QuickStop Super braking system provides additional safety, ensuring that the chain is stopped in seconds not only in the event of a kickback, but also when the rear handle is released. In addition, you can activate or release the chain brake via the hand guard. The hand guard clicks audibly into place.
