The powerful mowing performance of the lightweight STIHL FSA 57 battery grass trimmer helps you effectively trim smaller lawns and lawn edges. The FSA 57 grass trimmer is powered by a STIHL AK-System battery. Its electric motor makes this power tool very quiet and therefore suitable for use in noise-sensitive environments. This is a valuable advantage, especially in home gardens and in residential areas.
This battery grass trimmer has been specially designed to enable you to work ergonomically: the shaft length can be adjusted at the push of a button. You can also adjust the loop handle without tools. The softgrip handle with control lever is extremely easy to grip and absorbs some of the generated vibrations. A spacer bracket which can be folded up or down supports precise and gentle trimming around trees and shrubs, as well as around objects. The battery-powered grass trimmer is equipped as standard with a STIHL AutoCut C 3-2 line mowing head, which can be refilled without tools.
STIHL recommends using a round, quiet mowing line for battery grass trimmer with a line mowing head. This not only reduces noise pollution as you work, but has also proven to be more efficient in tests. Compared to a round mowing line, battery life with this type is up to 10% longer with the same cutting performance. STIHL supplies battery grass trimmer with line mowing heads with a round and quiet mowing line as standard.
